About May 2025 Calendar with Holidays

This is a big month for big holidays and events. Early in May, the Running of the Roses is held. It’s Kentucky Derby time. Southern Belles dress in their finest, including a flowery hat, and drink Mint Juleps. It’s Kentucky Derby Day. Quickly after is Cinco De Mayo, where you can celebrate Mexican heritage at Casa Corona, your favorite Mexican restaurant in Fresno, CA.
In mid-month, we honor Mom on Mother’s Day, the second Sunday in May.
Then, at the end of the month, we honor our military personnel who gave the ultimate sacrifice to assure our freedom and way of life. Memorial Day.
